You Will Need: 1 Stick (1/2 cup) butter, softened (To soften butter directly from refrigerator; microwave on high 10-15 seconds (Not melted). Instructions: Wash hands before making cookie brittle. 1 Heat. Heat oven to 375 degrees or 350 degrees F for nonstick pan. 2 Stir. Stir cookie brittle mix and butter until dough forms. Dough may be stiff and need to be blended with hands. Press cookie brittle dough into 11 X 12 –Inch rectangle (about 1/8-inch thick) on ungreased cookie sheet. 3 Bake. Bake 10 to 13 minutes or until surface is golden brown. Cool completely on pan, about 30 minutes. Remove brittle from pan; break into pieces. Store in an air tight container. High altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change. Do not eat raw brittle dough.
